Let's end the drought before we hit 13!

The prognosticators are celebrating the return of Nellieball, although not all of them see Don Nelson performing a miracle in his first year back with the Warriors. I don't need the entire miracle, just an end to the 12-year string of not being in the NBA Playoffs at all. Nelson has been there before, and he knows how to work with the smaller, quicker talent we've got and will bring out the best in Baron Davis and Mike Dunleavy.

Want My Oakland World Series Tickets?

Actually, they don't end up charging you for a game that never happens, but...they would have been worth the price! Can't believe the Oakland A's blew four straight, but I guess the Detroit Tigers were really hungry.

So now I gotta pin my postseason hopes for glory on, uh, let's see, the Oakland Raiders? Nope, gotta stick with my Golden State Warriors--and the season's starting soon. Hey, I think NBA basketball is the most fun to watch. Not all that start and stop and scratch yourself...and I'd really like tickets to our opener with the LA Lakers -- Kobe and the rest.

personnel changes

Dajuan Wagner, formerly of the Cleveland Cavaliers, has been signed by the Warriors for the upcoming season. The 23-year-old guard was a first round draft pick in 2002, and he appeared in 47 games as a rookie. He shows great promise and will undoubtedly be an asset to the Warriors.

This news comes in the wake of the decision to make Don Nelson Head Coach. He will be the 23rd coach in the Warriors’ history, and is expected to make great strides in strengthening the franchise.
