Finals contender falls facing unjust fear, anxiety and confused frustration.

I haven’t written in a while. The NBA Finals made me crazy and I couldn’t organize my thoughts well enough to make any statement regarding the anger I was feeling. For the first time in my 30 years I felt like something really wrong was going on in the NBA. How they can defend the officials who called the Final series is beyond me. I could be wrong, but consider the fact that I am not a homer and so many other people in this country feel a little dirty about this whole thing. We all saw the unbalanced treatment the Dallas Mavericks received from the officials on the court and the NBA itself. There were just way too many blatant inconsistencies for any true sports enthusiast to excuse away every bad call, non call and egregious abuse of authority.

Call me crazy but I think Dallas deserves some recognition for doing as well as they did in the face of unbeatable odds and fierce oppression.
